My family recently purchased our Yamaha 242 Limited S boat from your dealership, and we are Extremely Pleased with our purchase and Service from Fays Marina. Jason has been our main salesperson and
contact, but we have had contact with several people at Fay's to include members of service / maintenance staff.
I want to tell you everyone we have had contact with has been a professional, helpful and friendly. you have got good folks working for you.
My family is new to the boating community and this is our first boat purchase, but we did a lot of research before deciding on what and where to purchase. Fays Marina generously offered a free slip on Pine Lake for the remainder of the 2011 Season and that played a big role in deciding to purchase our Yamaha from Fays. Although we only got on the lake five times, we have already made some great lasting memories. Including my nine and eleven year olds first time tubing! As a result, we have decided to store our boat at Fays and rent a slip next season.
I will heartily recommend Fays to anyone looking for boating purchase or service.…
Thanks Wade and Lynn for helping with our Mercury Outboard. A few weeks ago our family experienced engine problems on our 2007 Pontoon with a Mercury 4 stroke engine we purchased in Michigan. We had to tow our boat to Fays Marina in La Porte, Indiana to have it looked at. We found there was a major failure with the engine. Wade Barnes of Fays called Mercury to find out what could be done since our motor was two months out of warranty. Wade was able to get the parts covered, but not the labor, which was going to cost us $1000. My husband called Mercury Marine and spoke with a gentleman to see if he could get the labor covered too. But he told him there was nothing he could do. I then called Mercury Consumer Affairs the next day and spoke with a wonderful supervisor named Lynn McCoy. I explained our situation to her and she told me she would review the file again. To our delight, she said it would be covered. I wanted to personally tell everyone how much we appreciated the efforts of Wade Barnes at Fay's Marina and Lynn McCoy of Mercury Marine.…
