15 Dollar Deal.
Of course when going to Red Lobster you are going to have to wait a minimum of 30 minutes. This is what we were told upon arrival but only waited around 15 minutes. The parking lot was full, people waiting inside and out but when we were seated we were NEVER rushed. Our waitress Sharon was the BEST. It was really nice to be treated like family. I do like the personal touch.
I do believe that the 15 dollar deal was a great idea in this economy. The food was fantastic. I had the Creamy Potato Bacon soup (anything with bacon is of course fantastic) - the Ceasar Salad - the Shrimp/Scallop Pasta - and the Key Lime Pie. Of course I can't forget the never ending rolls. Everything was delicous. The food was NOT served one on top of the other either. I was able to enjoy each plate of food with being able to digest it before the next serving was brought to me.
So what I am trying to say is the wait time is worth it.
Casual crustacean-inspired chain serves up diet-defying seafood dishes in a family-friendly environment..
In Short
Live lobsters wriggle in a tank inside this seafood emporium, where nautical-patterned booths and colorful, fish-shaped tables in the bar area add subdued touches of whimsy to the room's classy dark wood accents. The menu can be downright decadent, with starters of artichoke lobster dip, seafood fondue, and crab-stuffed mushrooms. Entrees feature lighter, grilled fare like mahi-mahi and North Atlantic sea scallops, along with signature lobster dishes, snow crab legs, and jumbo fried shrimp platters.
Don't go there if you're under 25.. My boyfriend and I went to this Red Lobster on Valentine's day. The food was tastleless and our waitress was horrible. She discriminated against us because we're a younger couple. I guess she assumed since we're young we wouldn't leave a good tip, but we would have been more than willing to if we had good service. She constantly checked on the other table with an older couple and brought them everything, but completely ignored us. I was very upset and refuse to go back to this Red Lobster again.
