A little bit of Portland, Oregon, in Babylon.. The first thing I thought when I entered Pisces was, "This reminds me of Portland." It has a cozy, casual, arty feel, but no pretention. Jeff and Justine, the owners, are very friendly and like to talk to their patrons about everything from food to news and current events. The food is terrific--definitely try the macaroni and cheese, which is a delightful bowl of baked cheesy goodness. The drinks are great, too. If you like chocolate, get your malted "Vader style." My boyfriend swears by the mocha peanut butter espresso with soy milk. I wish there were more places like this on the Island!
