Great experience!!. I went here with a couple of friends last weekend after shopping and it was lots of fun! The steak I ordered (medium rare) was cooked just like I like it, and the veggies and rice and noodles were really good, not too greasy or salty-sweet the way I've had at other places. Great hibachi and sushi. My girlfriend and I have been to the Osaka in Tallahassee, so we decided to try the one in Destin when we were in town recently. The hibachi chef we had was very entertaining, the food quality was just as fresh and delicious as it is in Tallahassee, and we tried the sushi and saki here as well, and that was very, very good. Well presented and fresh. Good service too. I got the filet and lobster for us, and we split it. There was plenty to share, and we were more than pleased.…
Amazing hibachi and sushi experience. We'd been going to Osaka in Tallahassee for some time, but a couple of months ago we went to Osaka in Destin. The location is good - it's near the shopping, which is, so us, the whole point of going to Destin - and the building is beautiful. We got what we usually get when we go to the Osaka in Tally (the filet and lobster), and, as usual, it was amazingly fresh and perfectly prepared. We missed our "Elvis" guy that we usually get in Tally, but the chef was fun and had us entertained. We'll definitely go back!…
Excellent Sushi and Service. My wife and I were greeted and seated immediately by a friendly staff. The decor was clean and nice. We ate a variety of sushi rolls and couldn't have been happier. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive but not intrusive. The sushi rolls were creative with ingredient combinations, fresh and delicious.…
Beware of tasteless sushi.
While vacationing, my family and I dropped by this establishment as it had a good crowd in the parking lot. Unfortunately, our evening was a big dissapointment when the sushi arrived. The protein
were tasteless unlike a good fresh cut should be. Even the dressing in the salad was not even edible. We had the sashimi platter, a few rolls and some nigiri. Bland was the common denominator.
Fortunately, the service was friendly and efficient last night and that was the highlight of the evening. I suppose the handsome structure and packed parking lot could be very misleading.
I would highly suggest tourists who enjoy sushi to avoid this joint.…
