Tips for Waves Restaurant & Bar

Nothing has changed.. After over a year I decided to give Waves Restaurant another try. Nothing has changed. New Management but same lousy service. Sub Par Food. Not fault of waitress. The owner is too cheap to hire more than one waitress for Bar and entire Restaurant. You will be very hard pressed to find a local resident like myself that goes to the Waves Restaurant. Compared to other restaurants in Ocean Shores, the Waves Sucks!

a little extra at the bar. all good until i overheard one person commenting on my wife, agreeing i like some of that. she proceeded to become stumbly and speech was altered. when she again went to the bathroom, i heard one of the girls whisper to the bartender to wipe off.... or they'll know you gave her a roofie. had a great time afterwards. great extra! Thanks bartender!

Biggest disappointment in Ocean Shores. Please don't waste your time on this restaurant!! The menu looked decent so we went in. Our server seemed pretty annoyed that she had to help customers so she dealt with that by ignoring them! She took 20 minutes to take our order and then forgot to put in half of it! I ordered pasta primavara and when it came, it was noodles flavored with pasta water...and lots of it!! the bottom half of my bowl was filled with the water that it was cooked in. Very gross. I couldn't even eat it. My husband ordered fish and chips that came out burned and completely dry. On top of that, our bill was $45. Not worth a penny. I would never go there again. Oh, almost forgot about our dirty dishes. YUM!!

A Great Place To Take A Nap. If you enjoy sitting at a table for two hours as you wait for your food to finally arrive then Waves is the place for you. We watched other tables get seated after us, receive their food, eat, pay the bill and leave while we still waited for our food to arrive. The staff never apologized or even seemed to care, it was business as usual to let a group of people spend the entire evening waiting for their dinner. When our food finally did arrrive it was pretty good but definitely not worth a two hour wait.
