The Scene
Don't be confused by the name. This Queen Anne Victorian has nothing to do with Laura Ingalls Wilder. Little is the surname of the innkeeper whose family has owned the property for four generations. The big draw here is the theater owned by the B&B. People come from miles around for its productions. Among the prestigious guest list of attendees are Cesar Romero, Margaret Truman and Alan Alda. By the time the plays let out, visitors would rather climb into bed than drive home, so they book a room here.
The Details
The inn's refined ambiance is accented with parquet floors, antiques and theater memorabilia. Guests may sip tea or wine while enjoying vintage movies or the host's stories. In summer months, you can take a dip in the large outdoor pool before lounging in the shade of the cabana or strolling in the gardens. A full breakfast is served in the formal dining room or sunroom and features the B&B's signature Heavenly Bananas.
