My Beauty Oasis. A-Skin Care Salon is my beauty oasis. I've been going to this place for the last five years getting my waxing, facials, manicure and pedicure there. I mostly see Svetlana and find her extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She is an eyebrows wizard and definitely takes the time to figure out the right shape for everybody. Same with facials, Svetlana is passionate about figuring out the right treatment and products and has helped many of her clients get a much better complexion. My face feels amazing after her facials. She also once offered me a complimentary make-up session and I loved the result so much that I now look forward to some occasion when I'll need to have my make-up done professionally with her.

Her daughter, Anya, has recently completed all the training and started working alongside Svetlana. I'm confident she's as great as Svetlana, because she's been getting the informal training since her childhood.

The salon is extremely clean with such precautions as individual plastic bags being used during pedicures being taken. They also do a great job being creative with the seasonal window decorations and always having fresh flowers at the desk.

I find the home-like and friendly atmosphere of the salon relaxing. It's true that you can hear other people's conversations when you are in one of the rooms, but it does not detract from my experience. Above all, I find the personal service that I get at the salon extremely valuable and it is very important to me to have found the place and people whom I can rely on for my beauty needs. Finding the A-Skin Care Salon has been a great quality of life enhancement for me and I highly recommend you try it!

quiet. i have come to a skin care salon a few times, and the time before my last - the receptionist was on the phone arguing with what sounded like a mechanic over her car. It is annoying to go into a relaxing place and hear someone yelling at another over the phone. I have been back another time since, and i dont think i can get used to the fact that you can hear everything that goes on. I did have a great facial, dont get me wrong, but shhh...deal with your personal business at HOME!

Makeup to die for!. I have been coming to A-Salon for a couple of years now to get my facials and waxing. My wedding is coming up in June, so I asked Svetlana if she'll be able to do my bridal make up, and she gladly agreed. In fact, they have a deal - if my whole party gets served - i will get mine done on the house! I went to try out yesterday, and Svetlana has done an unbelivable job. I haven't felt so gourgeous in ages. My man looked at me as if I was a whole new woman! Thank you, A-skin care salon!

Best Experience, Highly Recommend!!!. I dont know why anyone would have a problem with Stacy. I have seen her for mani's and pedi's and she's always been great! I have also done the waxin' thing and had NO problem either! I would recommend her AND the salon to anyone without a second's hesitation!! Thanks for always being great Stacy and keep doing your thing girl!!

Feels like home @ A-salon. I've been coming to A-Skin Care Salon for almost 4 years now, and they have the most personal service you can ask for. They treat you like you are part of the family, and always make an effort to make their schedule work out your way. I can just come in and trust them to tell me what i need. Since i was talked into doing my eyebrows, it's all people have been talking about. It's like my eyes opened up.

They always cater to your needs, and i assure you - there is no other place where you can get a facial like this. If you are looking for your face to be cleaned from inside out - then you need to go to this place!

I recommend it to anyone. And they have a refferal program, so when you go - make sure you put my name on the paper!

Warm and friendly skin care!!!. I recently moved to the area and needed to find a comfortable salon, a place where you wouldn't feel self conscious about yourself walking in the door. What I found is A Skin Care Salon in Arlington, in Arlington Center, where upon walking through the door I was instanly greeted by a warm receptionist and a skin care professional whose name was Stacey who took care of my facial that day. I found her to be knowledgable and thorough in helping me make decisions about my skin care. Since then I have been back many times for waxings and other services! All the staff are warm and friendly, and are there to meet your needs. I highly recommend this place!

Best eyebrows in Boston! (and best Brazilian design ;)). I wish I could post pictures, but that wouldn't be appropriate... lol

When you go, ask for Svetlana, she gets it done in no time
