After eating dinner here a few times I decided I'd try booking a surprise birthday party for my dad - who's really nosy - and check their prices and rooms. They actually had a really flexible menu for my group (40 people!) and were very helpful when I called them with questions.
I got to see the room beforehand and sit down with their sales manager to plan the menu. My dad thought it was just mom and me and when they took us back he was SO surprised I think he almost cried. He loves their food and we still ended up taking leftovers home.
My family and I tried this restaurant this weekend and I have to say that the word "amazing" does not begin to do it justice. The Chicken Saltimboca, with artichoke hearts and prosciutto, was heaven and the Tiramisu was generous and potent.
Our children each ordered from the very reasonably priced kids menu ($5.99!!!!) and had the luxury of making their own pizza at the table which was then baked in their oven and brought out piping hot for each child to enjoy.
We were truly treated like family and cannot wait to go back for my husband's August birthday. Be sure to make a reservation if you plan on going on a Saturday night, this restaurant's delicious food and friendly service is obviously well known across Berks County.
Get cozy with friends and family and enjoy an Italian feast at this loved-by-locals restaurant..
Homesick for your mother's Italian cooking? Grab your appetite and head to this restaurant, where the friendly wait staff will serve up portions of Colosseum-esque proportions, like spaghetti and meatballs loaded with savory tomato sauce and lots of pungent garlic. Dishes center on Southern Italian immigrant fare, and are meant to be shared family-style with a large goblet of wine-to enhance the taste, of course. The ornate décor with walls covered in vintage photos evokes a warm homey feel that welcomes customers to dine among the other families and loyal customers. Buon Appetito!
