A GREAT HIDE AWAY (BYOB). ITS NOT FAIR THIS PLACE IS ONE OF THE BEST LITTLE RESTAURANTS IN WARWICK NY let me tell you about my visit . I found out that the locals are very very " CHEAAAAAAAAAAAAP" so don't pay attention to ex-employees that write personal attacks on a very well careing restaurant for the town of warwick , the chef and the staff will do anything for there custumers like cook it over again and pay attention to your dislikes and please you. always my food is fresh and prepared with good taste and the staff is funny and very happy to work there some have been there for years if you like bar food then you'll never like this place the class of food prepared is a higher class of prep. ABOUT THE ENTREES if you went to N.Y.C or any other place they would be priced at 25-30 usa $ At this place the average meal is 10-24 you have to be real cheap to think thats high your in a great little restaurant with a very clean kitchen yes he gave me a tour and he is a great chef and person. Try this place out you'll see I'am right have fun PS B,Y,O,B .Also isn't it a strange thought that my ex- waitrees name was susan ( not to bright thats why harpoon bay let her go she doesn't work with the right screws, if you know what I mean !!!!!!!!!

Bad cooking and lukewarm service equals never going back. We went on a Saturday night when it was just about half full. We ordered steamed mussels and they brought a dish to the table where the mussels were cut in half, the BELLIES were missing and there was next to nothing there. They were very difficult to eat and relatively tasteless. Everyone had some issue with the appetizers...either not cooked well or tasteless.

The salads were actually very good and surprisingly they were the HIGHLIGHT of the meal! The bread was good as well...too bad the appetizers and entrees were so bad.

The next two dishes were below standard and one of our guests, a seafood fanatic who always overeats and over orders actually pushed his food away at some point saying it was just a mess.

When we first arrived our waitress was attentive but as other tables filled up, she became less so. She brought the check without asking if we wanted anything else and rushed us out. When we looked at the bill, we were ASTONISHED. It was SO expensive.

Never ever going back! STEER CLEAR! Unless you just want a salad and bread, then this is the place to go.
