Worst place I ever eat at. Service was the worst. Waited for our food for over 45 minutes, people that came in after us got their food before us. Saw the waitress twice, once to take our order then to bring our bill. Manager didn't help at all. Will never eat there again. All we ordered was soup & salad, and to top it off we all got sick that night.
Not sure im in Nashville!. When i stepped through the doors at Findley's I felt that I have stepped into Ireland! Friendy service, great beer, and awesome irish favorites. I had the Flatbread and the Shepard's Pie Highly recommed both. They had live music while I was there. EnyaFace kept the audience going with lively interaction and tons of laughter. Just a note, Findley's no longer validates parking - Park in the OpryMills parking lot and walk along the wooded path, or you can pay the fee to self park, or valet. I highly recommend Findley's Irish Pub!
Conventioneers get their fill of Guinness and live Celtic music at this replica Irish pub inside the Opryland Hotel..
In Short
This neighborhood-like pub features muted red and yellow wallpaper, vintage ads for tobacco and Irish whiskey, faux stained-glass on the ceiling and an enormous main bar carved out of giant slabs of dark wood. Music from Irish groups like U2 and the Pogues pipes out of two large PA speakers. Locals and tourists sit at heavy wooden tables and chairs for casual conversation and frothy brews.
Findley's IS great. I was thrilled to see Findley's added to Opryland. It's a cozy, friendly atmosphere, the fish and chips are excellent and they generally get VERY good Irish musicians in to perform! We have been to Findley's 4 times and had a great time 3 out of 4. On the 4th visit there was a duet that didn't want to play any "rebel" music. THAT was a bummer. But overall, I highly recommend!! Try the house beer...it's great!!
Close enough.... If you've never been to another "Irish" pub, Findley's isn't bad at all. The main complaint I've got is the fact it's full of conventioneers, who don't pay attention to anything (the band!) but their folders of goodies. If you want to take up table space and talk business, do it elsewhere and let the people in the back of the pub see the band! Findley's is a nice place to relax though, so I'll be back.
