I was so disappointed. My husband and I both ordered the Cowboy sirloin and when they arrived at the table they were obviously two totally different cuts of meat. The server asked us to check that they were cooked properly, first red flag, and they were not. A few minutes later our steaks were returned and were correctly cooked and were delicious. A manager stopped by to apologize about the steaks, so all good. Until I started eating the garlic mashed potatoes, no garlic and way way to much black pepper. When the server came to clear the plates I mentioned to him about the pepper. He returned a few minutes later with a different manager that also wanted to apologize and offered a free desert, nice gesture. When we got home and later ate the desert it was also substandard. The servers and managers tried but the experience left a bad taste in our mouths. Not what you want from a restaurant.

Good Food, Decent Prices. The food at Rafferty's is good, the prices are fair, and the atmosphere is casual. I have always had great service at Rafferty's.

Amazing food, even better service!. Rafferty's has some of the best staff I've ever seen! As many times as I have been there the food is always amazing and the service is right there with it, they have really improved, especially with the price drops. Chris Weems gave us the best service we have ever had, ask for him! I recommend Rafferty's to anyone and everyone, give it a shot!

High Prices, Same Food. I haven't been to Rafferty's in almost a year and I couldn't believe the jump in prices! I used to stop in for soup & salad lunches (around $13 for 2) and now it's over $9 for one soup and salad. Sprinkling a few novelty garnishes on the entree doesn't justify a $12.00 sandwich.

There are simply too many better American restaurants that don't dent the wallet as much, certainly not for lunch.

The Nightmare of Rafferty's. The Batter Fried Mushrooms and House Salads were supreme, the main course was a disaster. My wife on our second attempt at Rafferty'shad the Rustlers Roost Salmon and I choose the Jackson Hole Filet. The salmon was horrible, it was not flaky and fresh, it was rather overcooked and tasted horrible and the steak was tough and not palatable either. We are very dissatisfied with the quality of food received upon two separate dining occasions at this restaurant. I certainly am upset that a fine establishment would serve such to its patronage. I certainly would look for Raffertys to improve its quality. I dont know that my wife and I will return to Raffertys in the future, I certainly will not recommend the restaurant to clients or visitors. These incidents have caused me to have a very dim view of this establishment.

Outstanding. In a time when you've come to expect mediocrity in service and food this place is a huge step in the right direction. The service is by far some of the best in Nashville, with rarely fewer than 3 servers checking on you, and that's not including the manager, who actually speaks to you without a complaint! The food almost always blows away the competition! Occasionally the quality isnt consistent, however, if something isnt *exactly* as you want it, they very quickly bring a replacement, no hassle. I have only seen that necessary on a very rare occasion. You *must* try the croissant with honey butter. The bar is average I have to say, be wary of anything cherry flavoured due to the strong cough syrup flavour, however everything else has been well made. I hold this place in very high regard and would recommend it to anyone.
