I will not go back.

The first time I ate here the food was great. The second time was awful. So awful that I will not go back. I ordered the "sea food" enchiladas, and I was literally served an imitation crab stick wrapped in a tortilla with red sauce. The menu said "crab meat", and I NEVER would have ordered this dish if they made it clear it was imitation crab stick (which contains no crab at all!). To top it all off, it was the most expensive enchilada on the menu. So so disappointed!

This gem of a restaraunt in the littel oasis of Tularosa, NM is well worth the stop if you are going through, you will be sorry if you pass it up. They have delish homemade salsa, guacomole, and scrumptious sopapillas.FIVE stars!
- Pros: Wonderful authentic Mexican cuisine. Great atmosphere.
- Cons: NONE
Best place in Alamogordo

La Casa is a nice place with good food. It's the best restaurant anywhere near Alamogordo. The staff is helpful without imposing. I like it.
- Pros: Atmosphere, Decor, Variety
Yum!

Casa de suenos is an excellent example of New Mexican cuisine. They have a buffet every weekday, so you have a few more choices than eating off the menu. Sopapillas are served with every dinner. Chips and salsa are also brought out as appetizers at no charge. The building is really neat to look at, inside and out. During the warmer months, it's nice to dine on the patio outside. Most of the time, the service is excellent!
