Sweet treats for would-be rock starlets and the girls with the band..
The Scene
A hidden gem set among the French Quarter's souvenir shops, this tiny boutique has the privileged feel of a well-kept secret--a private romp through a super-cool friend's closet.
The Goods
All things studded, glittered or camouflaged--including vintage concert tees (Adam and the Ants, Ramones, Blondie), hip-slung pants, sunglasses, footwear and arm cuffs. Rounding out the offerings are lots of plastic jewelry, faux punk accessories and designer knockoffs on the cheap. Good thing, considering most of these of-the-moment duds will be interred before next season's shipment arrives. Sorting through the goods, you'll also see plenty of 30- and 40-somethings cruising the racks alongside conservative gals trawling for funky club duds. Regulars include nostalgic Gen Xers and fashion-forward teens--think Debbie Harry meets Josie and the Pussycats.
