We booked 2 limos from Too Hip Limo Service in Moss Bluff/Lake Charles area. We have a signed contract that has been paid in full for months. We called to see if we could change the pickup location for one of the limos, and the owner said he already rented it out to someone else! Now, the guy won't give us the limo or a refund!!!!! He is claiming because we asked if we could move the date, that the contract is voided. We only asked, then he said no, so we told him we are going to use them on the original date as was planned. (The reason for wanting the change, although it has little to do with the legality of this was the massive flooding due to Hurricane Ike). I just wanted to let everyone know that the owner was also extrememly rude, hollering and screaming at us over the ordeal. We did use a lawyer to try and resolve this issue but he still only said we can use one of them, but the other is rented out and still will not give us a refund for HIS MISTAKE. We were even willing to work with him, either give us the limos, a refund, or a different limo than we had booked. So, the only way for us to get use of the limos or a refund would be to get really involved legally, and none of us are up to all of that, especially with all the recent events. And that would probably not be resolved any time soon. So on top of our wedding date being moved (& our houses being flooded), we can't even use the limos that were rented & paid for to have a night out.
