They laid down drop cloths to avoid tracking in dirt and very careful about it. They were extremely professional and very pleasant. Went right to work and continued until they were finished.

Professional Job. The techs did a professional job, and the furnace was up and running within hours. The customer service rep was helpful with reviewing options, making some suggestions, and demonstrating all the equipment.

Bad Technician. I let my guard down on this one. I bought a new office and over the summer noticed that the air conditioning systems (one per floor) were not performing as well as I expected. I called Nashoba Air to change the air filters, get a reading on the refrigerant levels, and clean the condenser fins.

The technician, Mike, stated that the refrigerant pressure on the high side was a little high. He thought that changing the air filters and cleaning the condenser fins would would help. From the little I knew about Air Conditioning from working on my car, this sounded like a good plan. Mike supposedly changed the air filters and scheduled a visit to power wash the condensers a few days later.

After Mike cleaned the condensers, he refused to take a new reading of the high and low sides unless I bought a service plan from Nashoba Air. I refused. While I did see him power wash the condensers, he never took off the panels to remove the leaves and other debris inside the unit (removing all of 2 screws would have removed the necessary panels to gain access.) He also charged me a "difficult access fee" because we initially thought the only water faucet at my condo was several hundred feet away. During the break between visits I discovered a faucet inside the building that Mike could use. He used it, and still charged the "difficult access fee."

A year later I went to replace the air filters myself, and discovered that both air filters were missing (i.e. removed and never replaced.) Since I am the only one working at this office, I have no explanation for the TWO Missing air filters other than that Mike never installed them.

I have heard decent reviews of Nashoba Air in the past, but it looks like one bad technician (Mike) lost my business for life.
