O'Connor Studios Policy
by OConnor Studios
Unfortunately, there may have been some confusion with the O’Connor Studios policy. Each package sent out has our retake/refund policy on it. We schedule one retake day at every school for anyone that was absent on original day or would like a retake. We will certainly look to see if there is any ambiguity with regard to our policy.
We provide a 100% money back guarantee. If you are unhappy with your photos, parents may simply return them and we will send a refund check.
Your business is very important to us; we strongly urge our customers to call our office if they have any questions or concerns regarding their photos.

Worst!

My Child was out sick, the day of the original school picture takes and had his photos done on the schools re-take day, after waiting for ever for the pictures to arrive it was discovered that the photos they did where terrible, We contacted O`Conner Studios, their response was oh well can’t be redone you own them. This place is like a puppy mill, they only care about quantity sales and less interested in quality photography are awful and I would not recommend this location to any one, that is looking for even half decent pictures, look elsewhere, This is the 2nd year in a row we`ve had issues with this location... Be warned...
Disappointing

After contacting O'Connor Studios in Feb (several months after they came to our school to photograph children), we finally received our 3rd grader's class group photo. Where it says the names of the students & teacher on the bottom, it gives no indication that my daughter is missing or was absent (she had been absent for 3 weeks in Sept due to illness). So I'm picturing 20 years from now, someone posts up their class pic from their "social network" page and nobody remembers poor little Kathryn being in their class....all because she was ill.
I spoke with Jessica at O'Connor Studios who talked to their Production Manager and said they would add her name to the photo (as missing) and send me a new one. I explained that I'm really the last one who needs the newer version since I'm quite sure we will remember she was absent due to her extensive illness at that time, but the rest of the class who purchased group photos isn't getting the updated group photo. I said I couldn't believe they didn't have some experience with this or some protocol (by the way, DD is not happy about it either or I wouldn't be taking it up!). She did not seem to care. I might have gotten more sympathy from a robot.
Well, the new group photo finally came and they spelled my daughter's name wrong! Called Jessica again and, without apology, just said that she would have someone redo it and had no response to my expression, once again, that I thought it should be redistributed to all students in class who bought a group photo since there is no indication on theirs that Kathryn was missing from picture.
I guess it's hard to understand unless you are in the shoes. Either way, I would say that this company offers substandard services and cannot recommend them.
Studio policies not right
by sufwr
Studio has introduced a "new program" to the school which in my opinion is very pushy and does not get the proper authorization before photographing a student.
My third grader came home with a set of pictures taken at the school. Though the school had apparently authorized O'Connor Studios to take pictures at the school, my child and I never received notice that the studio would be there on a certain date to take picture. Nor did I receive the normal order form to fill out and send money in for picture day. Therefore, the studio had no order or authorization to take a set of pictures. I called them and their response was that under a new program they are offering, they go ahead a take pictures no matter what your child looks like or is dressed like on the particular day, they choose two backgrounds, they choose the pose, then they put together a package to send home demanding payment or return of the photos.
I have had children in school for years and years in this school system and have only ever expected to have one school photo per year taken. My student already had had a photo session in the fall when school began. On the day of the shoot, my child had no warning that she would be photographed, and communicated that she did not want her picture taken. The photographer told her she had to even though the photographer had no order or authorization from me.
These business practices should not be allowed. I partially blame the school for allowing this.
I will never used O'Connor Studios again for school or sport pictures and will make a point of telling my story to every mother and father who would like to listen to it.
