In Short – For many, getting their daily jolt of java has become a daily morning ritual, and the cardboard cup with its infamous green label is the close companion of every coffee aficionado. Busy baristas work seamlessly behind the bar, juggling orders for their strongly-brewed drips and signature hot and cool beverages. While providing a wide selection of coffee specialties, pastries and various coffee related goods, patrons are invited to settle down in comfy armchairs and enjoy their favorite brews amid the chatter of the laidback yet caffeinated crowd.
Editor's Tips
- The Extras:
- Purchase a Starbucks customer card and use it to receive fun rewards, like a free tall beverage when you buy a pound of coffee beans.
- Fun Fact:
- The Starbucks logo, a two-tailed mermaid, was based on a 16th century Norse woodcut, and supposed to be as seductive as coffee itself.

This is the Starbucks in the Von's Shopping Center...not inside the store, but next to Domino's Pizza. The baristas are very friendly and while it is very crowded here on the weekend's, it is still a much better service oriented place than the one at the freeway. This is a smaller Starbucks that is walk-up only (no drive-thru) but very happy, friendly staff that will make your coffee right.
