In Short – The first International House of Pancakes opened in a suburb of Los Angeles in 1958 serving a menu of hearty breakfast favorites. Today the restaurant still serves its signature dishes like the original buttermilk pancakes and pigs in blankets: sausage links wrapped in hotcakes. Other breakfast items include waffles, omelets, French toast and crepes. Non-breakfast offerings include sandwiches, burgers, entree-sized salads, and dinners like T-bone steak, pot roast and herb-roasted chicken.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!

ON 1/1/11 6 OF US WENT TO IHOP ON WISCONSIN AVE BY 41.... OUR SERVER HAD TO CORRECT THE 2 DRINKS SHE MESSED UP ON, I ALSO NOTICED SHE DIDN'T GIVE US STRAWS. WE WERE SEATED RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE ENTRANCE TO THE KITCHEN, SO I TURNED AROUND AND NOTICED 4 GIRLS STANDINGTHERE. I CAUGHT ONES ATTENTION & ASKED HER IF WE COULD GET SOME STRAWS? SHE LOOKED THO THE LEFT, THEN THE RIGHT, I SAID 2 MYSELF " WATCH SHE LOOKING FOR MY SERVER"? BY THEN THE OTHER 3 GIRLS WERE LOOKING AT ME SO I SAID CAN ANYBODY GET US SOME STRAWS? ABOUT A MIN. LATER A GIRL CAME FROM BEHIND ME ON THE RIGHT, STOOD THERE AND THREW THE STRAWS OVER MY SHOULDER. I ASKED HER IF SHE NEEDED TO DO THAT? SHE SAID "WHAT" I SAID THROW THE STRAWS? SHE SAID I ALWAYS DO THAT.. I SAID I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT YOU ALWAYS THROW STRAWS AROUND& NOBODY COMPLAINS.? BY THIS TIME I HADN'T ASKED FOR THE MANAGER YET, BUT A FEW MIN. LATER THE SO-CALLED-MANAGER CAME OVER BY ME AND SAID "IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG" ? I SAID YES THERE IS SINCE YOU ARE ASKING. I PROCEEDED TO TELL HIM ABOUT THE CRAPPY SERVICE ME, MY FRIENDS & KIDS HAD RECEIVED ABOUT SOME STUPID STRAWS. HE TOLD ME THAT HE HAS KNOWN AMANDA" FOR SOME YEARS, I TOLD HIM I DIDN'T CARE HOW LONG HE HAS KNOWN HER, THATS NOT GOOD SERVICE, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. HE SAID TO ME THAT I WAS NOT RIGHT?. I TOLD HIM THAT HE OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T TAKE A "MANAGEMENT/HOSPITALITY" COURSE TO GET THIS JOB. HE TOLD ME THAT HE WILL HAVE THE COOKS STOP OUR FOOD, I SAID THAT'S FINE WERE LEAVING!! WE GOT UP N LEFT.
PEOPLE UP HERE IN MIDDLE TO NORTH WI ARE RUDE........... IF YOU ACCEPT BEING TREATED LIKE #@!* THEN THAT'S WHAT YOU'LL GET. SPEAKING OUT AGAINST RUDE PEOPLE IS WHAT'S NEEDED. EMPOWER FOR CHANGE.....!!

Hair in food

This location called the police on a family who left without eating & without paying because I hop could not bring them food without hair in it.
They were forced by the Grand Chute Police department to pay the Grand Chute Ihop with a tip included.
After seeing the story on NBC 26 news I have not gone to any Ihops.

Poor service and food

My wife had a coupon for this restaurant. My omelette was disgusting, not only was it overcooked but it tasted like rubber. Many years ago we had an IHOP in the valley but it closed down. Seems like they didn't get it right when they reopened an IHOP back in the valley.
