Relief for a one-horse town.
Mexican Radio is a breath of fresh air for the Hudson Valley. In an area known for incredible free-range and organic farming practices, one would think there would be a better array of restaurants. These guys are a shining example of what should be.
They have really thought out their menu. They have well done, simple food like their mexican mac & cheese, but they also offer culinary expression through plates like their Korean Tacos and Mexi Spring Rolls. They even go as far as to offer plates for vegans.
The choices of tequila is impressive as well. I was told there that they have over fifty on hand, of all levels of quality.
We had a great time. A great place to eat, drink and explore!
too much money for peasant food and booze.
too expensive for peasant food. food not authentic tasting. shuffled out too fast, barkeeps made drink wrong. were asked to replace it and refused.
bad experience. sand way to spend hard earned money.
Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Two-story Mexican cafe located in Albany's antiques row, serves traditional south of the border dishes, margaritas and more.
Great!. This is a revised review. After giving a so-so review two years ago, we went back with family and liked it this time. I also learned more about how they source their ingredients from local farms, so it's fresh and they know where it comes from. That's how we cook at home, and it's nice to be able to find that same quality and concern when we eat out. We'll definitely be eating there more.
