poor customer service

Paid cash for couch and loveseat set. Told that it would be 7-10 days (fine) I assumed that I would have the furniture in that time. However 12 days later they were still at the warehouse "waiting on a truck to bring them to the store". On a Friday afternoon I received a call to set up a time to have the couches delivered (which I paid for upfront) they said that they only go to Watsonville on fridays and it would be another week until they could get them too me. I am only 20-30 min from Salinas, Im not in San Jose. After talking too them I definitely got the feeling that by doing business with them I was somehow an interruption to them. I will not do business with them again, I will go somewhere that wants my business.
- Pros: Not sure, have not received merchandise
- Cons: slow service and delivery
Poor Products, Poor Repairs, Poor Warranty Coverage

Purchased slate table from this merchant in Oct 07. After taking delivery in Nov 07, a few weeks later pieces started falling off of the table. We complained to the merchant and they sent a repairman to repair the table. The repair was inadequate (obvious repair, not what one would expect for a $500 slate table) so they sent a replacement table. A few weeks later, the second slate table was falling apart in the same manner as the first. We complained again, same story...repairman, inadequate repair, the company sent another table. A few weeks after receiving table #3, it started falling apart in the same manner as the first two. Now we want our money back and the merchant will give us nothing more than store credit, even though we're still within the 1 yr warranty of the original purchase. BEWARE! They've lost OUR future business...
