Bad reviews are all probably true :(. I read all the reviews here before signing up with Dr. Stoyka through my insurance company, simply because she is located so close to me. I didn't want to believe the negative reviews were true, and wanted to give her office a chance. Long story short, I was charged a $30 fee unfairly. When my husband went in for his appointment, they actually made him get up from the dentist chair in the middle of his cleaning to pay MY $30 fee! I called, left a message, no one called back. A week later, called again to speak to someone and the dentist herself got on the phone with me "pretending" to be her office manager. I was KIND as could be, but made my point, without being heated or nasty. And like THAT I was basically called a liar, fired as a patient, and told that if I called again I would be reported to the police. I have never been treated that way by a medical office and fell apart in tears. After trying to call back about 20 times (and being hung up on), certain that there had been a misunderstanding, a very kind member of the office staff took my call and listened to me with kindness, which is really all I wanted in the first place. Dr. Stoyka seems to be an insensitive, unkind person at best, at least when it comes to money matters. Perhaps unstable, too, as others have said. All over a 30 dollar fee. It's sad. I will be very happy to find another dentist, but it sickens me that a person like this has my $30. Really a small issue, but this interaction with her reveals a lot about her character. I would STAY AWAY from this office! Thank goodness I never trusted her with the care of my kids' teeth.…

DEADBEAT DENTIST. Livy Stoyka and her staff worked my two kids over. Apparently the whole place operates on unbelievable rudeness, dishonesty and poor workmanship. My step-daughter left bleeding & in tears. My son left shaking with anger at the treatment they received.

They went in for basic checkups & had poor quality unauthorized work done on them. Neither kid was advised of the upcharges. Before they even left, the office staff started collection agency-type tactics to get payment for unauthorized work out of 2 broke college students. When I called to sort things out, I got the run-around & amazing rudeness. They got their stories crossed several times then called me a liar. They also tried to play my kids against me. I got a sense of pure evil from these people, just from a phone call.

If you went to this dentist under a dental plan and are unhappy, call the dental plan provider's Practice Relations Department & complain loudly. My insurance is investigating her online record and may ban her.

Awful things about Stoyka are all over the Internet. My kids experience mirrors the stuff online. Can so many identical nightmares be a coincidence? Check her out online. com too. It's unbelievable.…

Unprofessional Dentist!!!!. I’m impressed, I usually don’t google people, but from now I surely will. This is an unprofessional dentist. She is not considerate of her patients at all, she does not listen and neither takes the time to check you when you are in pain. When you go to her office be sure to agree with her and keep you mouth close even if they do not use protection for x-rays or use same wet and dirty cotton on you, because what they say they’ll call the police on you???. She loves calling you sweetie? And do not finish her job, be sure not to pay until the job is done. Now I’m stuck with a temporary crown, because she would not seat my permanent one. Plus she kept it and I had already pay for the service $1130.28, plus $81.00 more for 10 min in her office, getting an X-ray and being told I needed a root canal that I do not need. Another dentist fixed my gum that had only cement stuck causing great pain on me. All this happen on May 20th 2009.

She is not mature enough to set her emotions apart for bad done job, that other dentist need to fix.…
