Worst Haircut Ever - I have a mullet. I had lived in New York City and am used to spending a lot on my hair. I am very picky - I have thick naturally curly hair and it takes a good stylist to understand the nuances of curly hair. I called The Edge Salon and was quoted $75 for a hair cut with Sherry. They explained she was great, even with curly hair. I should have known the minute I walked in to this outdated, dirty salon...beware. Then, I saw Sherry. She was a mess. I should have turned around and left. She proceeded to take the entire top of my long curly hair and chop it to about 3 inches long. She left the rest of it long. It was a MULLET. I couldn't speak when she was done. I was so overwhelmed by what she did, I barely noticed the story she was telling me about some woman who kicked in the side of her car after having an affair with her husband. Nice experience for $75. BEWARE.

I own The Edge Salon and know for a fact that Sherry doesn't charge $75.00 for a hair cut nor have I found any new clients on her appointment book and I checked back over 2 months. Sherry is the mother of 4 children, works full time and works an extra job 2 days a week and is my sister in law and if she had had an affair with a married man I would love to know when she had time to do that! Who is this and why would you write such a lie?

Best hairdressers in the U. S. A.. I'm picky about my hair! There is nowhere else that I would drive for 4 1/2 hours for a hair appointment. Bill Vandiver is not just an ordinary, professional hairstylist. Leave your style in his hands, and you'll be amazed with the fantastic results. He is a magician! Just ask my husband, ladies' golf league, or the numerous teachers I work with. I look 15 years younger! The personal, professional care that I receive from all of the staff members when I enter this salon that exudes such a comfortable atmosphere ensures that every trip there is a rewarding experience. At my last appointment, I decided to have hair extensions (because my 35th wedding anniversary was coming up, and my husband loves long hair). Bill, Charles, Jonas, and other staff members worked as a team to see that my wishes were accommodated (even though I had not scheduled an appointment for this amount of time). My husband loved my hair! He was simultaneously shocked and pleased. He said, "You look exactly like you did when I first met you!." What can I say? Bill, Charles, and the staff are extremely talented hairdressers. Hey, my husband was so pleased that he didn't even ask what it cost (unusual)!
