No nonsense meat smoking glory.. I've wanted to go to Durham's for about 5 years and I finally pulled the trigger today. Its a takeout only place and they have several good lunch specials. The first thing I noticed when I open up my satchel of food was the amount they gave me. The ribs were very large and the sandwich was overflowing with brisket. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and had a great smoky taste. The only complaint I could have about them is there was a good amount of tendons and ligaments but they were easily picked out. The brisket was wonderful and I got plenty of the crunchy outside bits. I couldnt fit all the meat on the bun so I took some off to make another sandwich tomorrow for lunch! The spicy sauce was not spicy at all but very sweet although it was very tasty. It could be kicked up a notch by adding some cayenne very easily.
