big tasty burritos. delicious burritos for a very good price. they are huge and stuffed full. the guys wrap them faster than you can order them. also, best coke ive ever tasted, honestly.
Awesome Burritos. Cheap and amazing. They dish you enormous tasty burritos for 5-6 bucks. The quesadilla are great too, in fact ive tried basically everything on the menu and have not been dissapointed.
Great burritos. Anna's taqueria has the best burritos ever! They cook the food so well, the pork bean burrito is so awesome...I'm def going there tomorrow.
Good and cheap. Good value for a cheap, unhealthy, large burrito. Maybe not the best stuff in the world, but when you need a burrito, it's hard to find something that can satisfy you better. Carnitas is the way to go.
Loyal customer no more. I used to go to Anna's 2-3 days a week for the Carnitas. Once the chain grew and the locations themselves got bigger, I saw a dramatic drop in quality and customer service. I started having a lot of fat in my burrito. I no longer go to Anna's. I'd rather pay a little more and get a better, slightly bigger, burrito at Boca Grande. Found service to be better at Boca too.
Popular local chain sells straightforward, overstuffed burritos and quesadillas, served fast and cheap..
The Scene
With a lack of other bargain dining options in the area, this fast food Mexican chain enjoys an amazing volume of customers, most of whom are area students and young professionals in search of a quick, cheap bite. You have a good chance of landing a seat among the studenty crowd; service is friendly and competent, but less so when the line's out the door.
The Food
Anna's limited menu includes hefty burritos, gooey quesadillas and over-stuffed tacos; all are meals in themselves. The super burritos feature a choice of grilled chicken, tender pork carnitas, moist steak or grilled vegetables with rice, beans, cheese, salsa and hot sauce inside a giant flour tortilla. Weighing in well over a pound and costing under $4, this is one of the city's best bargains. The house salsa, chilled and cilantro-heavy, goes great with crunchy, warm tortilla chips.
It's own slot on the food pyramid. This place has fed me more times than I can count. The burritos are very basic and dependable and cheap. You can't beat it for value and filling you up. I like the plain old burrito with pinto beans and rice and lots of hot sauce. Note, they use broth (chicken I think) with the pinto beans so it is not strictly vegetarian.
