In Short – Founded in 1983, this high-tech haven is recognizable by its blue, box-like building stamped with a yellow price tag-shaped logo. Explore the wide, gadget-lined aisles and find brand-name goods including personal computers, video games, TVs, digital cameras, cell phones and fax machines. Choose from a slew of popular brands such as Canon, Microsoft, Samsung and Sony. In-house installation services are available for most car audio and video systems, home entertainment systems, satellite hook-up, and home appliances.

Don't Trust Them

Called to get a quote for repair work from their geek squad, was told the only way to fix a laptop with a bad on-board video card is to buy a new one. I am ordering a new motherboard online for $148.95 and fixing it myself. Way to cost yourselves a customer for life. Now if only MyCitysearch would let you vote negative stars.
terrible service!

i just spent just over 45 minutes in this tacoma, wa store. in those 45 minutes i was trying to purchase the samsung 42" tv for $649.00, four sales associates walked by me and said nothing...i went to the checkout counter over in tv section and told the sales associate standing there i would like to purchase a tv but he was helping someone else and said he would help me in a "minute"; in the meantime he asked two other people if they could help me and they declined. i continued standing in the tv section, out in the open, i wasn't trying to hide, i was directly behind where the "minute man" was standing, he proceeded to help five other customers before finally acknowledging me and coming to help me. after these 45 minutes i finally found out they didn't even have the damn tv in stock!!! is it because i am a woman and we are not typically big tv consumers, so they just neglect to help us? in the last 6months i have purchased two laptops, nintendo ds, and gps system from them. i used to be an avid best buy supporter until now! i will be sure to spread the word on your crap service!
- Pros: none
- Cons: no help from associates, lack of product in stock
DON'T BUY HERE

I placed an order on line to pick up at the store. I get an email telling me to pick up the item at the Tacaoma WA location. I drive over an hour to get there to find out they had part of the order the part that was 23.00 a lap top case that I could have gotten closer, but it was part of a lap top bundle. They have charged my credit card but I have no product. After talking with the manager and getting no where I told them to cancel the order. Guess what since it was placed on best buy. com they are a sepearte company! I can't get through by phone and I still have the charge haning out there on my credit card! What a rip off. They tell me to go to Olympia where they show 7 in stock, another two hour drive! I will never do business with this company again!! In todays economy they are going to end up out of business with business pratices like that!
- Pros: NONE WHAT SO EVER
- Cons: THEY WILL SCREW YOU
Don't Make this Worst Buy!

I would completely avoid this store for their willingness to screw the customer and treat you like an idiot. I purchased a laptop from the Puyallup store, but when it broke I took it to this store as it was closer to home. Big mistake. They put a bad motherboard in it, and then proceeded to play pass the buck and put me off instead of honoring their warranty and fixing it. They even lied to me, saying that they would send it back to their offsite repair (of course the ones who were screwing up), while it sat on a shelf. I would go ANYWHERE else before I let these people take my money to sell me a crappy product and then outright lie to me.
- Pros: Cheap Prices
- Cons: Horrible service, crappy products
