My wife ordered ribs with the brown sugar glaze. They were also dried out like they had been sitting in an oven or under warming lights for hours. Overall a terrible experience.
Brandon Smokey Bones is great!!!!.
I've been to the Brandon location many times and the food and service is always great! I think the portions are generous and the staff always comes around to check on me.
The only bad thing is the traffic ingress / egress, with the Brandon Town Center Mall.
If they could move the staff to a more easily accessable location, this Smoky Bones would be perfect!
Don't go!!! Terrible Food.. My son picked Smokey Bones for his birthday dinner because he wanted ribs. First, we requested ribs with no sauce and they came with sauce. We sent them back and then the server brought out a new rack of ribs....so she said. We are certain the cook wiped off the sauce and through the origianl rack on the grill to cook/dry out the remaining sauce. Unfortunately, the ribs still had sauce on parts and we mentioned it to the server. Seh said all the ribs are cooked wih sauce (we thought they were smoked) so they don;t dry out. Here the kicker...the ribs were extremly tough and dry. So much for the sauce preventing them from drying out. Tonight was a upsetting birthday meal fro my son. We will never go back..
stay away from item from tyhe grill.
I don't think they have ever cleaned the grill, my food had black "Grilll Marks" that were from burnt grease.
I'll never go back to that location! Most places provide bread foor free, they charge $7 for 4 bread sticks.
Inconsiderate Management At Brandon Store. Although customers complained about the loud music in the Brandon location, the manager refused to lower the music to an acceptable level (where customers can hear themselves talk). When asked about this, the manager indicated that this was the type of environment that they are trying to create. Well, if you are trying to create an environment where customers literally walk out of the restaurant because the music is too loud and the management has no consideration, then the store will get exactly what it deserves; an empty store!!! I really wanted to rate this store at "0" but could not submit without at least one star.
Mountain-lodge decor and slow-cooked meats draw barbecue lovers and sports fans to this woodsy chain restaurant..
In Short
Rustic accents like logs, lanterns and fieldstone may adorn the exterior, but inside, it's all about ceiling-mounted TVs for fans who want sports with their spicy food. A large bar with a giant television dominates, while flanking wooden booths come with audio selectors and easy views of nearby screens. Sundry meats are cooked in-house over hickory wood: pulled pork (hand-pulled daily), baby back ribs, barbecued chicken, smoked beef brisket and various combination platters.
