The truth – I don't want to say who i am but i know the whole thing more than others as well as the guy who wrote this comment. At first, you want something thing to drink but people can't offer you drinks without your ID in your pocket. You seem to be angry first. Second, Waiter should serve you guys well except explaining everything on the list as you required. That night the restaurant should closed at 10 pm. It's true that a lot of people came in late but they ordered the food before 10. You guys ordered at 10:20 and why you can ask the question" why others can get food except us?". How do you feel this question? All people here are fair whatever new or old. For the Sushi, i can't say everyone likes Sushi here because it depends on people's taste. But what i want to say is that waiter already told you there is Wasabi sauce on it and i heard your Girlfriend said " you will like it" when she saw the roll. If you don't mind you can double check with her. English is your language not ours. Don't laugh at people on this issue. If you try to learn another language maybe you will be worse than the owner. Thinking about yourself first then you have the right to discuss others. Thank you for loving Chinese food.

DONT GO RUDE, WE GOT RIPPED OFF – So new to the area my GF and I were looking for sushi when we found this restaurant. we enter and sit, it is 9:20 PM we order drinks and are told the kitchen closes around 10:00 PM so we order sushi an item I ordered came with sauce on it containing wasabi which I cannot have. So I politely ask our server to swap it for the same thing minus the sauce pointing out it did not mention sauce on the menu. we were told "THEY WERE NOT WILLING TO REPLACE THE ROLL AND WE HAVE TO PAY FOR IT"( WOW ) so what ever we are hungry so I order something else. Order is placed and ten minutes later the server comes over to tell us the kitchen is closed!!?!

So now I have paid for food I cannot eat and they close the kitchen so I leave with EMPTY POCKETS and EMPTY STOMACH????

I go to speak to the OWNER to see if she can help us thinking there must me a big misunderstanding and she is VERY RUDE. She tells me she cannot put every little detail on the menu for "people like us" then tells me she speaks no english lol what a joke. So I say good because my GF is chinese speak to her. The OWNER starts yelling in chinese infront of the whole restaurant, on top of this one of her regulars who is beyond legal limit for intoxication trys to pick a fight with me?? I ignore him and try to reason with the owner peacefully to only get more RUDE ATTITUDE, and DISRESPECT. So we pay the whole bill and tip the waiter over 20% as we felt bad he was caught in the middle of horrible Customer service from the OWNER!! After we pay my GF goes to get her jacket and keys and the same drunk guy who claimed to work for the liquor inforcement while trying to be a tough guy with me lol say's to my GF who is chinese "THAT WHY YOU DONT DATE A WHITE GUY" so my GF is now very upset and emotional as we leave I call the police and let them know what happened and they fully agreed non of that chain of events was right or ok, they were sending officers over to the restaurant last I knew. to sum up the whole experience I can't even begin to understand how you can treat a customer like that over a 8.95 piece of sushi?? so yes they saved 8.95 but just lost two customers that eat our 3-5 nights a week and love chinese food!!

Its really a shame that the owner has no respect for the people paying her bills because the food was decent for the area.

I also cannot believe you would encourage other customers to pick a fight or act as a bouncer? I really donot know where this place got its ethics from. my overall impression of this meal was I paid for services not rendered, we had (ethnic) remarks made to both of us and we RIPPED OFF

Great food and service! – I have tried most of the chinese restaurants in the area and I would say that Thousand Crane is the best, hands down. The food is great, the service is impeccable and the price is right. Also, their drinks are always nice and strong!

Best of Manchester – This little place is great - Chinese and Japanese food at it's best. Lunch is very affordable and fast. Dinner presentation is very nice. Friendly service and great food.
