Great buffalo chicken pizza. Great buffalo chicken pizza, was in there the other day after I was getting my car worked on. This stuff was fantastic. Not sure how their other flavors are, but this is definitely a winner.

Sometimes good, sometimes bad pizza. Update:

I've been eating here a lot more recently as I moved closer, and the quality has gone way downhill. They used to be the best around (especially for NY-style thinner pizzas), but the inconsistent quality is a show stopper. I've received pizzas that are overcooked, undercooked, way overloaded with cheese (not enjoyable), hardly any toppings, way too much sauce, etc.
It really is completely random, and doesn't seem to depend on things like whether they're busy or slow, who's cooking, etc. They simply aren't consistent, and I'm finally starting to look for another regular pizza place. It's sad, because when they're good they're great. But that is just starting to happen less and less frequently.
Old review:

I eat pizza nearly everyday (even long after my college lifestyle has subsided), and I enjoy all the different kinds. For local pizza in South County, Pier pizza has started to become my number one pick right above Kingston pizza. Both offer local style med-thin pizza (not as thin as NY style, definitely not thick like Chicago) with typical Italian and a few creative varieties. I love the buffalo pizzas and calzones, with my only reservation being the cheap fake chicken they use (reformed smooth tofu-like chicken bits, not real chicken meat). Other than that, hard to find any fault with the food.
Delivery is often a bit slow considering I live within a 5 minute drive, but I suppose that's expected. I nearly always pickup instead.

Sloppy slow service. sloppy product inconsistent. The dough fell apart and had no texture.
