Not all Kelly's are the same. We are fans of Kelly's Roast Beef in Everett, MA. One of the key features of Everett is that the dining room is always spotless and there is a person clearing trays, cleaning tables, and monitoring the dining room. We went to Kelly's in Danvers on 4/1/10 at about 1 PM and while there were several empty tables, not one of them was clean. There were several cashiers and service was immediate. Our food also arrived in a reasonable time and the taste was good. As we left it appeared that someone was finally starting to clean the dining room, but that was probably 30 minutes after we had arrived. Kelly's in Everett, MA must have a great manager that needs to be duplicated. Maybe it was just an off day, but the overall restaurant didn't appear clean like what we are used to in Everett. We may return, but will think twice due to the cleanliness.

NOT WORTH IT. I JUST ATE AT THE FAMOUS KELLYS IN DANVERS , THE SHRIMP ROLL WAS FROZEN BABY SHRIMP THE FRENCH FREIS AND ONION RINGS WHERE COLD AND TASTED LIKE THEY WERE COOKED AN HOUR EARLIER MY FRIEND HAD THE CLAM PLATE SAME THING CLAMS WHERE OVERCOOKED AND RUBBERY ,FF AND ONION RINGGS WHERE COLD THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS PLACE WAS THE TARTER SAUCE.

Local bastion of roast beef sandwiches and fried seafood thrills area families with several area locations.. In Short
Kelly's suburban locations attract area families and weekend shoppers in need of a break. The signature, overstuffed roast beef sandwich is sliced fresh and requires a two-handed grasp. Other menu favorites include clam chowder, onion rings and fried clams. Compared to downtown restaurants' pricey, undersized versions, the lobster roll (meat of two one-pound Maine lobsters) is a veritable bargain.
