I recently move to the area and was in need of two arrangements for Valentine’s weekend. So I made a large purchase, for my budget. I was not only extremely disappointment in the quality of service, but expected more for what I paid. One order was completely wrong, nothing was correct. I ordered a bouquet of stargazer lilies with no vase. I arrived to pick up my order to find an assortment of flowers not containing any lilies and in a vase. I was barely offered a sorry for the mistake and they just threw a few lilies in the bouquet. The other order I placed was for deliver and the dozen roses were brown on the edges. I’m sure there are dozens of store that would not only love the opportunity to have a new customer, but that would have offered me a better value with better customer service. I know competition is tough and with over 100 florists in the area, I was hoping to find a great florist that I could continue to use, unfortunately I will have to keep looking for a better shop.

Stunning Work!

Ilex created beautifully designed floral arrangements for my wedding. Their work was spectacular and they were a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to make a stressful day much more enjoyable with their professionalism.

I would highlly recommend them. They are a little more expensive but you really get results for your money and they are very creative wih their designs.

Not the every day bouquet in a glass vase or basket!

I think Ilex is the most talented group of people - EVER! The flowers are always fresh, and the creativity is beyond expectations. Our office has used them for years, and I now use them personally. If you want a bouquet that isn't "the average, every day vase of flowers," you want Ilex to do your arrangement! From flowers for Secretaries' Day to centerpieces for your holiday party, Ilex is the place to go! Remember, quality does have a slightly higher price. They may be a tad bit higher priced, but you certainly get what you pay for!

• Pros: Creativity - a piece you'll talk about for years!
• Cons: Slightly higher priced - although I'm not sure that's a con when you see the quality!

Beautiful Flowers, lack on accuracy and follow through...Customer Service needs attention

Hired Ilex on the recommendation of a friend of the owners. Spoke with Eddie at length about the floral design and the budget. They were familiar with the church as they had done flowers there for many weddings over the years.

I went to pay the balance for the flowers the day they arrived, and I was charged $800 MORE than what I was quoted. Later, I found out why. They did a completely different wedding design than what I ordered. My maids' flowers were wrong. The sanctuary was wrong, and many items were left out. I was disappointed (understatement) . I managed to focus on the real meaning of the ceremony, but the photgraphs didn't capture the wedding I have been dreaming about my whole life. I left messages for the florist, but received a return call once we were on our honeymoon. They agreed to give us a store credit, but I can't get anyone to return my calls or right the wrong. Very disappointing. It's a shame, because I actually love their work.

This is what I call stepping over dollars for dimes. If they had responded right away- sent a designer to my home and helped me put together a floral plan for each room, I would have spent the store credit and then some and referred everyone I spoke to because "they took care of me". I hope they read this and make their way to do the right thing.

• Cons: Inaccuracy in executing the order...don't follow through on making it right.

The Best!

I love Ilex! It is by far the nicest florist in town. The staff there is always super friendly and it is a treat just

to go into the shop. I always order my friends's birthday flowers and party flowers there and everytime the arrangements are filled with high-end, creative garden flowers such as tulips, hydrangea, peonies, lilies and orchids. I highly recommend it to anyone!

• Pros: quality, selection, creativity
• Cons: a little hard to find
