Dependable digs boast consistent service and ample amenities. – In Short
This highly recognized hotel chain has been taking care of business and leisure travelers since 1957. Professionals appreciate the business center, meeting facilities, in-room work area with ergonomic chair and no-glare lamp, and express check-out. Those who come to kick back take advantage of the pool and gift shop. Spacious rooms include a comfy bed with a quilted-top mattress, oversized comforters and feather pillows. Additional amenities include a fitness center, whirlpool and concierge services.
Good Hotel But Big Problem If you Need Internet Service – The hotel is generally good. The rooms are a decent size, the facilities are good, and the staff is friendly and efficient. The downside of this hotel is, for me, a major issue: Internet service in the room is unacceptably poor. Although the hotel charges $12.95 per day for Internet connection in the rooms -- which seems business unfriendly but we were willing to pay -- we kept losing connection, and we tried both wireless and hard-wire connection. When we called the front desk, they put us in touch with the internet service provider, which seemed really strange. I've never had a problem getting wireless before, and I used wireless on my computer in the airport on route to Nashville, and in an Internet cafe in Nashville about 2 blocks from the hotel. But it worked in the room only occasionally, and would quickly become unavailable. Internet connection is very important to my business, and based on this experience, I wouldn't stay at the Renaissance again.
Super Hotel – The staff of the Marriott treated everyone attending our convention last week like with super care and attention. We really had a great time thanks to everyone involved.
