Good steak, but nothing more

My husband and I are not drinkers, but we like a good steak. We went to this place and were not treated well at all because we didn't order drinks. We thought maybe it was just a bad server, so we tried again. Same thing. As soon as we ordered only ice tea with our steaks, the whole mood of the server changed. Well, the steaks aren't that good!!!!!!

Some good, some bad

Expensive, noisy, great steak, good wine list, great apple martini, horrific fried calamari (overly breaded and greasy), nice oysters, pasty creamed spinach, complimentary valet, and a pain in the neck waitress. Its a pet peeve of mine but when I spend $250 on dinner for two I don't want perky, talkative wait staff. I want knowledgeable, courteous, well trained team. If I want perky I can go to Applebees or TGI Fridays. I do want to compliment them on the filet mignon, it was generous, cooked to perfection, well seasoned and tender. I can attest that they got that right. The 1999 Barrollo was not overpriced ($80) but that pesky waitress wanted to pour it soooooooo bad. It really needs to rest for at least 30 minutes. It went well with the filet.

• Pros: comp. valet, steak, good wine list, great martinis
• Cons: expensive, noisy, not all food good, overly friendly wait staff
