It was really that good. We celebrated a birthday lunch there today. They don't pull a big lunch crowd but they deserve to. Five out of five of us *loved* our lunch. The menu understates the flavors, which are in my opinion really nicely balanced and just a little different than what you generally find.
This was the first time at the restaurant for all of us and we all agreed we would bring others here in the future.
- Pros: Food, charming waitress
- Cons: none
Excellent, wish we had one in Boston

We were recommended this restaurant before visiting Sonoma and absolutely loved it. First, the food was amazing. We had hot & sour soup for an appetizer. I'm not a big fan of hot & sour soup in general, but this was easily the best I've ever tasted. If hot & sour soup always tasted like that, I would order it on a regular basis. For my entree, I had the sauteed pork chop schnitzel a la Jackie which was amazing. The meat was very juicy and the sauce was delicious. The portion size was very generous. Finally, we had the Five Star "Sticky Toffee Pudding" a la mode. Very tasty! I really wish that Doce Lunas was in Boston; it would easily be my most favorite restaurant in the city!
- Pros: Incredible food, friendly owners, reasonably priced
What a GREAT place!

During a recent visit to the area we were referred to Doce Luna. I consider myself pretty picky about what I think is really good food and this place is Great. Short ribs done Korean style, the citrus chicken breast, fried green tomato salad, pineapple Macadamia crusted brie, ginger creme brulee, meringue with berries and cream all were a thrill to eat. One top of the wonderful food the atmosphere is very casual and cozy and the staff and owners are genuinely friendly and attentive. Don't miss it if you are anywhere close to the area.
- Pros: Food, owners, staff
