Great for kids and adults. I took my nephew here last summer and we both had a blast. I hadn't been here myself since I was a kid, so it was great to check it out again. I especially enjoyed the aquarium and the polar bears.

Part of me does wish that the animals had more room to explore, like the tigers and elephants. I realize space is limited, but hopefully someday the zoo can expand to give them a larger habitat.

I Love the Aquarium. Most people in this area would say that the Seattle Aquqarium is a great place to visit but I find the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium to be a lot more enjoyable. They have cheaper prices and it includes the zoo as well. to see the Seattle Zoo you have to drive north and spend more for the tickets at each location then for one ticket to see both features in Tacoma. Check this one out you wont be disappointed....
