Really puzzled by the bad reviews, I have NEVER had a bad experience. You must go and see for yourself, especially now that they are in their new location the selection, the staff, and the knowledge of the staff is superb. https://www.facebook.com/FloridaGunExchange their new address is : 1050 S. Nova Road Ormond Beach, Florida 32174
poor staff / knowledge. Stopped in about a week ago hoping for a new range plinker. not approached or acknowledged by any staff. I was very irritated by the sales person telling a woman why glock pistols are not that good (reasons were ridiculous and flat out lies). Rather than starting a debate, I simply walked out. I dont think the staff even knew ( or cared) I was there. It's sad because I bought a gun there before and their prices are good. Maybe they should raise their prices and use it to pay for employee education
Bad Business, and what ever the rating is below 1 star. When buying a 96 Beretta from these people they advertized it was (ItALIAN) made not to mention other wrong information and when gun finally got to my FFL it was stamped mad in USA. I called and told them my problem and the gun being Italian made in USA was a problem as it was advertized Italy. they connected me with a so called manager named Tom Wilkenson who turned out to be a very rude, ignorant, egotistical, self absorbed, miscreant, nuff said. When I asked why the false advertisement he seemed very unconcerned and I asked where is the italian pistol he said "In Italy" My response was not very nice. This village idiot is in no way a asset to this business, although he is part of that word. Managment is not well served with him. He should be doing something besides dealing with the public. Whoever the owner of this Co. is he should take a good long or maybe short look at him, he is not helping you in any way. By the way, listen to the recording of this conversation then make your own decision. Very unhappy customer, I wouldnt deal with you people if I had another lifetime after this one.
Never Have Had a Problem.
I cannot understand why this business has 2 bad reviews. I have been inside the business multiple times. Every time I have been there, all sales personnel have been knowledgable and very helpful regardless if I made a purchase or not.
Bought several guns from there, ammo, accessories and have had no issues.
I believe you need to give the FL Gun Exchange a chance. They are the lowest price in the area on firearms. They have a large selection. Unlike other dealers in the area, they also have a website. This way you can compare prices from home.
Best prices in 100 miles. Service has always been great for me. I bought an AR 15 last year and the whole experence was very good. I've been to the store a number of times since looking at Glock's, and someone is always willing to let me window shop, as well as help with my questions.
Will not honor return policy.
Beware when you walk out the door with a returnable product. I purchased a knife...had it less than 24 hours and tried to return it because I did not like the way it opened. The sales person said it worked fine and they would not return it. I said I did not want to keep it. He took the knife from me, went to a back room to talk to the owner, came back and said it had a scuff mark on it and wasn't in new condition. It is possible they put the minor scuff mark on it or they sold it to me with the mark...in any event it really wasn't a mark.
I HAD THE KNIFE FOR LESS THAN 24 HOURS!!!!!. They said I should have checked it out before I bought it.
Beware of this place. I don't know how they stay in business when they don't honor their policies.
Horrible Service.
I have been to this store once and I was impressed with the selection but not impressed with the service. I wanted to buy a HI Point handgun and they don't carry them and said they are junk. I beg to differ great gun went to Bucks in Daytona Beach instead and have shot over 1000 rounds now without any jams. My buddies S&W couldn't even do that without jamming or my friends 500 dollar glock.
Also Had a firearm transferred via FFL dealer to them and called to give them the info for the other dealers fax, find out 5 days later they never sent the fax to my other dealer and had to call again to get them to fax the info again, the info they obviously never sent the first time. Total incompetance and lack of care. Never will do business with again.
