Been going there for years!!!

This place is amazing! My family and I go there all the time and have been doing so for about three years now. The owners are the ones that seat you and are amazing. If you are looking for a friendly Italian restaurant this is it!! Their calamari is fantastic and I love all of their pasta. Their prices are not that outrageous and you have a fun time there!!!!

Overated for tourists only

any local who's eaten here would say this place is expensive with average food and a obnoxious owner, Lucia I imagine which would make this atractive only to unknowing weekend town tourists who don't know what they're in for.

Home made food and very good

I went to the restaurant for a family function, the food was very good. Everything is made fresh from scratch at the restaurant. The sausage is some of the best, I have ever had. The pasta dish was cooked properly and the sauce was good. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

KA CHING and not worth it

Food: Bland. We had salad with the house balsamic vinegarette, no flavor. Only way to redeem the cream of broccoli soup was to add LOTS of salt and pepper, no flavor by itself. The main courses we ordered were lasagna and fettucini with shrimp. My husband enjoyed the fettucini, the lasgana was flavorless. The meat sauce on the lasagna was very good, but burnt.
Selection: Good variety of Italian dishes on the menu.
Service: The waitress was very friendly. The busboy was very attentive, filling water, removing dirty dishes. The owner? was in your face - too much for my liking.
$: Way too expensive. At home, if I want to cut the food budget, I go Italian. The lasagna was about $15 and the fettucine was $19. Many of the entrees anre $23! That's not a huge amount for good food! But this isn't worth it. Around $50 for 2, one glass of wine each. I heard an elderly lady at the next table say $70 for two people and she double checked her bill.
Cleanliness: Clean
Ambiance: Beautiful room and view of Long Grove.
Come again: I wouldn't choose to go again.
