Best restaurant in town

This is by far the best restaurant in Manitowoc! One doesn't have to put up with mindless tobacco addicts. There are plenty of options for vegetarians and carnivores alike. The owner (Jon) actually walks around and asks how you are enjoying yourself. We held my mother's wake there; and the cooks and the waitstaff went the extra mile to make it a memorable occasion. The beer is great!!

Good food, so-so atmosphere

I've been to Courthouse Pub three times. The food is good, even great. The atmosphere, however, is not. It just seems a bit dated and blah. Others might not care so much but if I'm going to shell out lots of money on a meal, I'm doing so for the experience as well as the food.

The mussels were great and I would go back again, but it's definitely not my idea of a high class restaurant-(which the prices do imply) I'd rather travel to Sheboygan or Green Bay for the price I'd pay at Courthouse Pub because there I could find a restaurant with just as good of food (if not better) AND an awesome atmosphere.

Dining gem in Manitowoc

I have dined at Courthouse Pub regularly over the past 2 years with various groups of friends and family. It's a great location in downtown Manitowoc, and a great place to stop for some drinks, a casual dinner, or a special event. They feature a diverse drink menu, including great house drinks, micro-brewed beers, as well as commercial beers and wines. The menu is broad and creative: everyone in the party is able to find something they enjoy, from the more experienced diners to those with less diverse interests in food. All the food is excellent, nobody I've been with has ever been dissatisfied with their meals. Moderately priced, and definitely worth it.
