Good Food

Madison Avenue Restaurant has been around awhile, regular patrons come back over and over again. Owner Kelly Eccles has got good american stick to your ribs fare, my steak was out of this world! Went for a walk afterwards with my wife, love the area...

- Cons: Parking Full
Outsiders are not welcome
by fuzzy15 at Citysearch
It seems that this restaurant caters mostly to the old time regulars and is not very willing to go that extra for new patrons. This is sad, for with the theater close by they need to welcome the new people not talk down to them or make them feel unwelcome.
The food was OK but after the poor welcome the ambience of the evening was badly marred. If we had known the area better, we would have left.
- Pros: Close parking, Good view of the lake
- Cons: Cold welcome, Only adequate service, Smoke in eating area
