In Short – The much-copied look of hardwood floors, decorative stained glass, checked tablecloths, brass rails and walls filled with knickknacks has been a staple at this restaurant franchise. Originally a hit for its frisky bar scene, Friday's is now known just as much for its kid-friendly entrees. Why do I like it so much?

TGI Friday's has been one of my favorite places to get a beer, burger, watch a game, and spend time with a friend. It's a chain, yes, but I appreciate the effort they put into making each location friendly, upbeat and fun without being intrusive. The variety of food is good, usually tasty. I will definintely be going there again.
The location in Vernon Hills was nice, I ate at a table near the bar and watched a game. Good time.

Cheap and great!

I've been there multiple times and will continue to go. I love it there, servers are hilarious and fun, and the food, especially the apps. and desserts are amazing! I try and get in there once a week as a release. Bar or dining room, both good and all non-smoking.

Not so much TG at Fridays...

you can't base a review on one experience so i allowed myself to be disappointed twice. From the inept wait staff to the errors made in pricing and timing (one member of our party had their meal delivered with our check!!) nothing about TGIFridays makes me want to end my week there!
