Extremely Happy with Jocelyn. It was a little nervewrecking trying to find a new salon and stylist. So I dared to try out the Octagon, checking out other people's reviews. I called and had an appointment for 15 minutes later. I was VERY satisfied with Jocelyn. She has been working there for 6 years. I showed her a few pictures of the layers I wanted. She knew exactly what to do. It turned out great! :) She didn't try to overdo it. She seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. I'm glad I have a new haircut and stylist that I actually love again. The staff is friendly and they have a nice waiting room, filled with sweets, munchies, and a coffee machine. Yum :) I will definitely go back! Thank you so much ladies at Octagon! :)

Excellent customer service!!!. Just wanted to thank all the ladies at Octagon they are FABULOUS we had such a wonderful time over the weekend experiencing our head to toe spa package and the limo ride was relaxing too... love the pink & zebra print. If you looking for a great Spa this is the place for you the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING!! thank you Janelle and all the ladies at Octagon your the best!!! VERY IMPRESSED 1ST TIMER. I received a gift cert. and went in for several spa services. Walking in the door I was immediately greeted, & had come early per their request as I was a new client & needed to fill out paperwork for the aesthetician (which they never gave me).

Was escorted to facial by Peggy - WONDERFUL aesthetician. After, she walked me to Mallory (GREAT) for nails - LOVE that mani's are separate from pedi's. Don't have to listen to rest of salon hustle bustle when getting pedi which is part of the separate spa area. I have been to some of the best spas in the world and was gladly surprised by this gem in of all places, Gurnee! Can't wait to go back!

VicKi Vicki Vicki. Vicki is good at doing what she does. I came to her with a really bad perm and color that i had no idea what i wanted to do with. I told vicki that i wanted my hair to be healthy and she helped me get my hair healthy,vicki wont use or have you buy any product that is not good for your hair. She gave me a amazing haircut and the color is great, she really knows what she doing, i felt that when i was in her hair she really listened to what i did and didnt like. So if you want amazing results and a stylist who listens to what you want go to vicki.

Octagon Spa Salon's Jocelyn N.. Jocelyn N. does amazing work! She colored and cut my hair and I never thought my hair would look as good as it does! My hair color is awsome thanks to Jocelyn N.

VICKY VICKY VICKY. I have been many places on the north shore and paid way to much for so much less! Vicky has perfected hair extensions and color! She has helped me find the perfect extensions to give me the look I always wanted but didn't get naturally. She colored my hair to match everything perfectly and no one can ever tell my hair is bought. I am always hearing how beautiful my hair is and how lucky I am. I am not shy...I tell the admirers to call Vicky! They too can have it! Seriously though, I live on the north shore and I have had extensions for 8 years. I will NEVER go to another NS salon or pay NS prices again. I will take the 30 minute drive to see the best!

Amazing experience. I have been going to vicki for about a year and i couldn't ask for a better stylist. she has made my experience at Octagon Salon amazing, there is no way I would ever go anywhere else. While the price is never to high, and the service is phenomenal there is nothing else you could ask for. From the minute you step in the door they make you feel at home and whatever you need they will make sure you have it. I would recommend this salon to anyone. I cannot stress enough how excellent the service is and how great the price is. I used to go to another salon and i was paying way overprice, Octagon Salon is the place to go :)

Great place. I'm a 3+ year customer and Vicki does a perfect job every time. I have very hard to manage hair and Vicki styles my hair perfect, every time. Vicki has helped me by explaining the best way to flat iron and curl, which products to use on my hair so I get great results at home. I get my hair colored and foiled every month but the best thing I get is hair extensitons, for the last 3 years! Vicki is always so exact and specific and the end results are great. Beautiful long hair that looks and feels like mine. This is all I need to be happy customer coming back for more, but on top of this, everyone there is so incredibly nice,helpful and present.

Great Salon even better Stylist!!!!. Octagon Spa and Salon is a gem of Lake County. I live 30 minutes away, but refuse to go anywhere else to get my hair done. My stylist, Vicki Millard, continues to be the best hair stylist I have come across. She listens to what you want and is also able to give you ideas on what works best for your hair. I always leave happy and excited to show off my new hair!!!

My stylist Jocelyn. Everytime I walk into the salon it feels like I step into a completly different place at the other end of the world. Jocelyn is a wonderful stylist and helps me out when I'm in a bind with my hair. She is highly recommended as well ad the salon.
