Good french-american food in the suburbs.
Barrington Bistro is a nice casual/formal restaurant with great ambience and service. The food is very good, especially the seafood and the steaks. The appetizers could have been little bigger
portions but they are exceptional. Try the foie gras and the shrimp. The wine list was not too great and the one we chose was too young and dry.
Overall the food, ambience and service is highly recommended. Its expensive so reseve it for a good date.…
excellent food and presentation for the price. Great country French ambience inside and out. Friendly staff, good service. Every dish ordered at our table of 5 was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Entrees range on average from 15.00 to 30.00. Soups, salads and desserts are about 7.00 each. I would expect to pay twice that in downtown Chicago for this quality.…
Simply Delightful. The Barrington Bistro is one of the most under rated bistro's in the Chicagoland area. I do have my favorite dishes but everything I have tried their has been excellent. The Excutive Chef, Nadia Tilkian does a marvilous job with the presentation. Most main entrees are around $15 with fair protions. The wait staff is very good and has a very friendly atmosphere. I highly reccomend this resteraunt as a must visit.…
