If you enjoy Tapas Style dining, this is the place for you! I took my girlfriend here and we both loved it. The atmosphere was nice, although I will admit it was quite cramped inside the restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly, and the service was fast. They even asked us if we want to have our food come out at a slower or faster pace. The Sangria was pretty good, although I was a little disappointed with their Chorizo, but the great thing about tapas style dining, is that they're small portions and you can just order something else! Just remember to try to hold on to a menu so you can keep ordering throughout the meal.

Jaleo has been recommended by several as a great place for tapas in Bethesda. I couldn't agree more. The location is at the midst of very trendy restaurants. Jaleo has a bar area and seating both indoors and outdoors. I had a sangria which was mixed with fruit, vodka and wine. Although the plates are "small" since they are tapas, they quickly fill you up. I do caution that some dishes were a tad bit salty.

featuring a unique and original menu of tapas, Jaleo is best visited in groups where you can split samples of tapas... and maybe the bill. a salad-plate sized serving of whatever you pick is probably between 5 and 12 dollars it's difficult to leave this restaurant full without paying tons. but the food is good and the atmosphere is nice.
