Worst Day Care

This is the worst place to talk your kids. After enrolling my kids I heard about the child that was locked in the building and everyone left but I thought it was a one time mistake. This was only the begining to the issues at this day care. I have had several issues with the lack of care and attention to the children. My son was bitten numerous times and have bumps and bruises that they could not explain. They say they encourage potty training but in reality they give them enough attention and encouragement to learn. Both my kids were always coming home sick. I recently learned that my 1 year old was sleeping with a cup of milk for nap time and removed both kids from the day care. If you care about your children's health, do not take them here.

Choose for Yourself

I disagree with the other comments. I have 3 kids in Red Barn and they love it there. There is good and bad with everything and you need to choose for yourself. I have had them with daycare onbase at NASCC as well as the Bay Area Child Development Center and those places were awful and weren't for my kids. My daughter stated that a provider hurt her and squeezed her arm. I have heard nothing negative from my children. The hours are more fitting for my kids and the daycare is actually affordable another best part is if your child is sick 3 or more days of the week, they actually reduce your cost and if you are going to be on vacation all you do is pay a holding fee. Other places charge way more and even if you are on vacation still charge 100% of the cost and give your space out for drop-ins.

• Pros: Better Rates, will pro-rate for missed days
• Cons: is very large and has lots of kids

Very Bad Day Care!

This place is everything the other review says. It is dirty and very overcrowded. I spent a month here and it was horrible. They have way too many children and never enough staff. I expect a safe clean environment at all times for my children and so should you. This is not a day care I would recommend!

Dirty & Overcrowded

I regret not listening to my friends when they said "always" check a child care facility out thoroughly before enrolling. I should have listened. It was not clean and always overcrowded. Kids seem to get lost in the shuffle everyday. One of the teachers told me the moral was not very good and I saw first hand why she felt that way. This is not cheerful place behind the scenes and appears teach kids very little to truly prepare them for preschool. My children have learned so much more since they left. Keep looking. We're sure glad we did.

• Cons: Dirty - Overcrowded - Has a Poor Track Record
