I was a resident at Annies house for 2 years. It is a very nice, clean safe environment. (i moved out 4years ago) they do help you get your life back together and have programs for after you move out. I wont go on about those but Annies is a good place. (For Grell..If you call MCDI ask for the Annies house program. Someone will contact you. or you can go to MCDI and tell them you would like an application for Annies House. They are very nice and by the way i am White so it is NOT a racist program.

Don't bother.... This was once a good place for homeless women to live while they were straightening out their lives. Now, however, things have gone downhill. Recently they've installed an answering machine and have taken to basically ignoring phone calls, so if a client did need to reach them for an emergency, they wouldn't be able to. Some of the staff members also seem to have a slightly skewed viewpoint in that they seem to think that if somebody is white, they're automatically have more money or can easily get it. Not to mention that they often make promises without having any clear ability to keep them.
