Always impressed. I have taken 3 cars to Budget Brakes over the past 4 years and each time they have given me the best price compared to several other shops I have had bid the work. PLUS they offer a lifetime warranty on their work. Last month the brakes on the first car I took to them started making a little noise so I brought it in and they fixed it — no charge and no questions asked. Each time the guys have walked me back in the shop and showed me the work that needed to be done and explained everything in detail. It is hard to find service like that these days.

Budget Brakes / What's in your wallet?. I am a female and was excited at the potential of going to a brake place and just getting my brakes done. However, what they failed to mention in all their advertising, they check your entire car and try to pressure you into getting other things fixed. Also for the advertised $99 & 79 you only get 2 new pads on you car, I thought you'd get all 4 changed. What a rip off!

I needed new brakes that is all I wanted were some brake pads. So they call me back and ever so politely tell me I need a new rotor, new tie rod, and back brakes. All this would cost me $464.00! I said there's no way I'm paying that! That is too expensive! So the guy asks me what's in your budget? HA! Budge Brakes indeed.

Great Customer Service. I had a great experience at BB! I dealt with Joey. I went to them after having a HORRIBLE experience with Firestone. Fstone had given me a very high quote and treated me as if I was a helpless woman that had no clue. Upon examining my tires, Fstone told me they had stripped lug nuts and would replace those. I thought, 'well at least they're replacing'. Within the hour of dropping car off at BB, Joey phoned me stating that I was a very lucky person to have avoided a horrible wreck. Not only had Fstone stripped lug nuts, they stripped my hub that holds my tire on my car. He assisted me in my fury with Fstone. Fstone ended up replacing hub or lug nuts, but not in a happy or apologizing manner. BB worked with me, gave me a great deal, and spoke informatively about my car, instead of calling me 'baby' and treating me like an idiot. They fixed all four brakes, drums, etc. in an hour and a half too! Go to Budget Brakes - there are almost always coupons in newspapers too! Any help with the costs of car maint. is great!
