This salon is WONDERFUL. Haley at Hillsboro (the salon on 21st) the very best and most skilled stylist I've ever had. It's not just her, however. All of the artists there are educated and trained, very kind and would engage in our conversations. Very cool atmosphere, sweet music, and with a no pressure to buy product feel. Haley told me what she used and why, even down to the science. I am new to town and she really helped me learn about the area. MOST IMPORTANTLY- I left looking and feeling so fine. My hair looks amazing and feels amazing. Get the pH balance conditioning treatment, not expensive and worth it!

Keri-Lyn, from Salon Ya Ya, is the best colorist I've ever encountered. I have been going to Salon Ya Ya off Blair and 21st in Hillsboro Village for almost 3 years now faithfully, and I have never had a close to bad experience. The staff are always friendly, team players, and professional. My hair was so damaged and in need of desperate help, and Keri-Lyn came to my rescue. I had dyed my hair black from a box, and chopped it off mid neck- and Keri-Lyn carefully and professionally brought me to where I am now- long Jennifer Aniston sun-kissed blonde with my natural brown shining through from underneath to bring dimension. It's never been healthier- and never been this light, which I didn't think was possible. I love my hair.

Not only did my hair transform color wise in the hands of Salon Ya Ya, but it transformed in health. This is the only place that i don't feel like they are trying to up sell me on products. If I could benefit from it, they tell me about it- but they never push. At times when I'm not in the place that I can afford extra stuff, Keri-Lyn helps me decide what I NEED to keep my hair up to par health wise- and she teaches me ways to use the products, and ways to style my hair to keep it from breaking.

Aside from my hair always being perfect, the environment and treatment is top notch. I love the late nights when they turn up the music, and the conversation is never stale. The ladies that work there are not snobby at all, and they make me feel right at home.

This is not a normal salon. If you are looking for a place to call Yours, this is the place for you. I highly recommend Keri Lyn & Rebecca.

Finding this salon and my magnificent hairdresser Rebecca Haddad has been the biggest lifesaver EVER. I have never been so happy with my hair until I started coming here. It's a comfortable, hip atmosphere and I really like how much Rebecca truly seems to care about what I exactly want from her and never fails to execute perfectly! Everyone should go to Salon Ya Ya!

Best Salon Experience Ever!. I make the trip to Nashville from Oklahoma usually at least a couple of times a year, but this Spring Break was the best time ever!

Rebecca did such tremendous work that I intend on traveling to Nashville from Oklahoma just to see her and have her do my color, cut and style again!

I was so relaxed by the end of my appointment, that I felt like I was walking on air the rest of my stay in Nashville. Rebecca took the time to ask questions and actually listened to what I was looking for, and the results showed that she was clearly paying attention. She also took time to explain what and why she was doing the tasks she did, and showed me how to maintain the look until my next appointment.

Thank you Rebecca and Salon Ya Ya for a wonderful Monday appointment that led to a terrific week!

Best Hair Salon in Nashville!!!. I've been to quite a few salon's over the years and it is hard for me to find a stylist to cut my hair and actually like the style they give me. I had the chance to experience Salon Ya Ya and it was wonderful. The salon itself has a great atmosphere, it's very clean, and all the stylist's are very nice. I had the pleasure of having Heather cut, color, and style my hair. I might add that when she shampoo's your hair it's phenomenal! She told me about different products to use on my hair and I can honestly say that I will NEVER go to another salon. Heather will always cut, color, and style my hair!

Best Experience EVER!. I have never been one to go to the same place, or the same person to get my hair cut. I have always gone to a different place looking for good deals, never really caring who cut my hair. But after going here and having Keri-Lyn cut my hair, I probably won't be going anywhere else. And that's saying a lot! She spent a lot of time listening to what I wanted, and then spent a lot of time making sure my hair was perfect. And she gave me lots of good advice on how to style my hair the same way, which I really appreciated.

Finally found a home!. I have been to MANY different hairstylists and I have never found anyone who meets all the needs of my hair Keri-Lyn listened to everything I said and I have always had flat, boring, just lifeless hair and she not only makes my hair look fabulous, she explains how to do it so I can do it myself, I will never go anywhere else, just sorry I didn't find them earlier!

Pixie is the BEST!. I had been thru SEVERAL hairdressers, one that left my hair damaged from the color she used and could only cut my hair in a bob, one that charged $100 for the only cut he knew - which was a bazillion layers, and one that interpreted "red" as "orange."

PIXIE spent time looking at my hair and asking about my lifestyle before developing a vision for a hair style I can grow into. When was the last time someone cut your hair with a vision for where you were going with it?! And my color ROCKS! It is RED, not orange and it looks totally natural. Pixie consulted with others in the salon, mixed the color and came up with the PERFECT shade for me - and the color she uses actually makes my hair feel healthier than when I walked in the door.

I have difficult hair, and I have a lifestyle that doesn't allow for a lot of hair-centric behavior ... but I still want it to look good. Pixie met the challenge!

You can't go wrong at Salon Ya-Ya - I know several demanding women who finally found hair hope here!

Your trust is well placed here. I was wanting a major change. Naturally I am a DARK brown with ever-increasing grey. However, I wanted to go much lighter with blonde highlights. So, given that, I knew I had to really do my homework for a good stylist. Luckily I found Salon Ya Ya and when I called they set me up with Kristin for a consultation. We sat down, she took a hair sample and did a test to see what my hair would do. Pleased with the results, she started to map out what to do with my hair during the actual appointment time. Granted, it took about the whole day, but given what I asked for, I was prepared for that. The cut was also great and even when it is several weeks before a trim, I am still getting compliments on both the color and the style. Kristin is a great stylist and I have no doubt that she will work with you and you will leave with what you invisioned or better. Putting your trust in Salon Ya Ya is well placed.

Very Please Patron. I am a loooong time patron of the owner of Salon Ya Ya.

Like a long time! Over twenty years long.

I am so pleased to see the way they have grown and mentored new members of the salon.

Now they have branched out to two locations - and I get to visit both of them! What fun.
