Great Lunch Buffet on a Budget.
I use to love there lunch special buffets. Also, I enjoy Bombay house much better than Shanti's.
Shanti's lamb vindaloo is the best, but they are inconsistent with the quality of meat, but sauce in the curry is fantastic.
Used to be good, until crazy prices went up. Food was never great here. But its convenient, and the buffet used to be a good deal. Mind you, not a great deal, but good. They since raised the price to the $12 range. This is a lunch buffet, that has maybe 4 dishes, some type of salad, and some desserts. The tapioca bals tasted like dishwasher water. The papaya pudding was very odd. So, at the new $12, there is no way that I will go back.
My favorite food in Bloomington!.
Until I ate here, I didn't think I liked Indian food. The entrees here are amazing, I've loved every single one. Lamb Sag, Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Marsala, all delicious. My favorite was the mixed Tandoori platter, with chicken, sausage and shrimp. The fried bread to snack on while your order is prepared is tasty too, try it with the sweet sauce (mango chutney?)! One lament about this restaurant is that they do not serve alcohol.
But the service is great, the location is excellent and the menu diverse. Try this place!
lunch buffet is amazing!. I can't believe Bombay House has such a low rating! The lunch buffet is amazing, just try it!
