Poor customer service,dirty, poorly run

In Sept. we do an annual 'sister's weekend'. For the 2nd year we went to this Best Western because it's close to Madison where we see the art fair the last weekend in Sept. Last year was great. This year was NOT! Our room was dirty; trash in the can, dead insects on the bathroom floor, no tissues for 2 days, someone elses hair clip on the headboard...The bathtub was so slippery, it was dangerous. So dangerous that one of us slipped & banged her head hard enough to call paramedics.(a day later she had a CT scan that was thankfully negative, but she had 2 painful days & never talked to the hotel manager...he's never on site. And was never offered a free night, or even a rate reduction! If it was me, I'd own this hotel!!)
I called the desk to get tissues, and was asked to come get them. The hotel was full, but severely understaffed, so everyone there was doing more than one job. I e-mailed the manager when I got home(can't get him at the hotel) and his response was pretty much , "sorry we didn't excede your expectations, try again" I will NEVER stay here again!
