Unique local flavor!.
I disagree 100% with the negative reviews! they must work at Applebees or something! I live in Iowa & drive 6000 miles a month, traveling 6 Midwest states & 'found' Henry's last Summer. I have
visited for dinner 4 times since. I decided to try the 'local flavor' & now make Henry's in Fort Wayne a definite stop. On the outside, you wouldn't think much of the place, but the inside is nostalgic. I have NEVER found it to be smoky (which I would detest), and have ALWAYS found the staff to be nothing BUT friendly!, Or I wouldn't be back. Tonights soup was crab bisque, & the entree was swordfish! try finding that at Applebees! Think Cheers with a chef!
I dont know how they do it; Im just glad they do...
In the words of "Ahnold",,, I'll be back...
zamzow joe…
Okay place!. When I first moved to the area I always had a great time at Henry's...but I have noticed the past year and half the staff and service have really gotten bad. I remember one time sitting at the bar I heard the bartender say some rude comment about one of the customers that had just been there, the seating at the bar was full and if i heard it everyone else did too...not very professional. The quality of food is always good and the oyster bar on Saturday nights is fun sometimes. I guess I recommend it, but soon the place will be as boring as everywhere else. so you better get there while it still has some spirit.…
GOOD OLD WORLD BAR. A great place to talk and just relax. The service is never good and you might want to order two drinks when you have the server at your side.
