DO NOT RENT! JEFF IS A SCAMMER!. Looks like I'm not the only one having issues with Jeff at Pendragon Properties. In July I moved into Shamrock Pointe in Bloomington. We were told that we were getting a discounted rate and free use of a washer and dryer since he was having trouble getting people in. We said cool! They gave us the apartment number that we would be getting. (this was about a month or better before we were scheduled to move in.) Seeing how I lived .2 miles from Shamrock already, I went to look at the place we were moving into 2 days before we were scheduled to move in. It was FILTHY..I mean rotting food and filth all over the place.. this of course is the old tenants fault, not Jeff. BUT.. this was 2 days before we moved in. I called them and told them and they assured us it would be fit for move in. 2 days pass and I head over to check it out... it of course was still filthy! They told us we could have another apartment instead since we had to move out of our old place and would be homeless. I had no problem with the new one, it was actually a better location inside Shamrock Pointe. We moved in and had a move in inspection done. We had no washer and dryer in this place but they assured us they would bring them out. 2 weeks pass, not a word. Finally after 3 weeks they did...and they were the cheapest POS's possible and the dryer about half works. Moving on.. in the next month we got 3 calls from Pendragon trying to set up a move in inspection....which we already did and signed. A few days pass and Im sitting in my bedroom with the door closed eating and watching a movie. Jeff (the owner) just comes in to he apartment (didnt knock) and comes straight into my room!!! I could have been naked or whatever! He didnt even know we were moved in! He thought the old tenants were still there. After that a couple months go by making it present day 10-21-11 (we moved in, in July) . I wake up this morning and we have no water. I asked the upstairs neighbor and she DID have water. I called Pendragon and they said we should have called and had it moved to our name. Jeff specifically told us that water was a part of our rent when we signed the lease. Of course there was nothing in the lease about it and Jeff denies ever saying it! So i have to go to the local water company and get water put in my name. When i walked in to the water company the lady said, "Oh, another Shamrock Pointe person eh?" Apparently all of Shamrock Pointe was calling the water company with the exact same issue. When I got home there was already a water company truck there and I asked him how many he had to turn on inside Shamrock Pointe...he said 8 so far with more to do! Very obvious we were lied to! When i confronted Jeff with these issues he wouldnt even let me speak, just kept cutting me off and getting nasty! I come here to do a review and see 14 out of 15 bad reviews.. I wonder why?! The dude is a terrible business man and I will be turning him into the BBB…

DO NOT RENT FROM PENDRAGON. PERIOD.. This place is a joke. If you like to be stressed and frustrated all of the time, then this place is for you! We had BIRDS living in our walls, our dish washer never worked. They kept sending people to fix it and it never worked. They would just run bleach through it and then the whole apartment smelled of bleach. When we tried to move out we scheduled our move out inspection and the lady never showed up! They legally have 45 days to issue you a refund for your deposit. I went into the office on the 47th day and they said today was their last day and they would mail it. I informed them it wasn't but told them I needed it soon. When I got it in the mail they had back dated the check like they that had cut it 2 weeks ago! They constantly have new people working and they are usually rude and unprofessional. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM YOU WILL REGRET IT, TRUST ME! I wish you could give a negative amount of stars!!! All of the positive reviews on here are ones people in the office wrote- and they expect people to believe they're true? They all sound EXACTLY the same!! Get a clue. Maybe you should worry more about your tenants then trying to up your score on a review site. There's too many bad ones coming in, you'll never catch up!…

WORST PERSON/BUSINESS TO RENT FROM IN THE WORLD!. Jeff has to be the worst landlord in the history of landlords. He doesn't care whatsoever about his tenants as long as he gets his monthly rent. I lived in an apartment with a lot of problems and he never had them fixed. I would approach him about it and he would brush me off as if I weren't there. He is a dirty person who will find any reason whatsoever to take your security deposit and leave you in the dirt. One would be absolutely dumb and foolish to rent from this jerk.…

Worst place in bloomington to rent from. I ended up renting with them because a friend of my roommate worked there and got us a deal. shortly after he quit because of disagreements with managing policy, but we got to keep the deal so we thought it was cool...horrible maintenance staff; it takes a lot of prodding for them to fix anything. also they straight up stole our security deposit. we put a full month's rent on the deposit and when they sent us the move out reconciliation report they only credited us with half of the amount (and are now claiming that we owe them money). horrible horrible management.…
